if she obtained this book new then she's about 47 now. I wonder what she's up to....

Not a very exciting cover BUT, this is one of the best collections of ghost stories I've ever read. It was compiled by Robert Aickman and contains his short story 'The Cicerones' Which is one of the best Ghost stories ever written....
